Quinn Henoch

Current Role Working With The Athletic Population

I am head of athlete rehabilitation for ClinicalAthlete Newport in Orange County, CA, which is located inside of a barbell sport facility called SoCal Weightlifting. Currently a large percentage of my caseload consists of barbell sport athletes who are looking to rehab from injury or reduce the risk of future injury. I work closely with Strength & Conditioning coaches to ensure the athlete is training safely.

Professional Philosophy

Rehab and training are the same thing, but the starting points just might be a little different. I program rehab and training based on information gathered through the process.

Athletic Background
  • Competitive weightlifter, 2010-Present
  • DI-AA American Football at Valparaiso University, 2006-2009

Academic Background and Professional Training
  • Bachelors of Science, Exercise Science, Valparaiso University, 2009
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy, University of Indianapolis, 2013
Additional Information

Since 2013, I have presented nationally and internationally to healthcare professionals and coaches alike, regarding current best evidence and practice for athlete rehab and injury risk reduction; and have authored the book, titled: Weightlifting Movement Assessment & Optimization.

Rehab and training require both the coach/clinician and the athlete to take an active role in the process. I look forward to the journey with you! Appointments can be scheduled here: https://clinicalathlete.appointlet.com/
