Current Role Working With The Athletic Population
Jocelyn works primarily with barbell athletes and indoor rock climbers. She specializes in sports and orthopedics, including pelvic floor rehab. Jocelyn treats athletes dealing with injuries to the extremities (knee, shoulder, wrist, etc.), spine (neck and back), and pelvic floor (prolapse, incontinence, pre/post-partum).
Jocelyn believes that every client is an athlete and utilizes the key foundational principles of strength and conditioning to return athletes back to Crossfit, climbing, and other sports. Her philosophy is to strive for fitness and health improvement at all times, even when you're dealing with an injury.
Unlike many sports physical therapists, Jocelyn did not grow up athletic. She discovered barbell sports in her early 20's after a lifetime of being sedentary. For her, the barbell completely transformed her life and career. Since then, Jocelyn has participated and competed in Crossfit, powerlifting, and Strongman.
