Current Role Working With The Athletic Population
Every patient I work with is an "athlete" in some capacity. Population ranges from school age to elite (Olympic, Professional) athletes from a variety of sports. I enjoy being a generalist and not working within a specific niche. I think treating a variety of patients, including aging athletes, makes me more effective with specific populations.Professional Philosophy
-Identify an athlete's goals and values
-Fit the system to the athlete
-Systematically prepare the athlete to perform his/her sport, occupational activity, or lifestyle goal with complete confidence while accounting for all relevant variables
Athletic Background
-Collegiate level tennis player
-Military Special Operations (Air Force Pararescue)
-Personal hobbies: MMA, tennis, kiteboarding, ski mountaineering, skydiving, SCUBA diving
-Current training consists of relative strength work, sprinting and tempo running, and aerobic conditioning to support mountaineering goals with a focus on health and longevity
Academic Background and Professional Training
-AB Biology, Brown University
-MA Exercise Physiology, Columbia University
-DPT Physical Therapy, Columbia University
