Current Role Working With The Athletic Population

I work with local crossfit gyms in my area by keeping their athletes injury free.  I utilize a sophisticated form of neurological muscle testing to assess the weakness in the kinetic chain and then address that issue with soft tissue treatments and strengthening exercises to maintain that neurological pathway.  Clients learn how to take care and prevent their issues through education during their sessions with me. I do workshops at local gyms on breathing and bracing, taking care of your shoulders and teach gymnastic clinics.  I have online and remote coaching available  for my clients, and a online platform that I teach all of my classes on as well as a On demand fitness channel filled with movements and joint flossing to get you moving well again. I work with local golfers, olympic weightlifters and equestrian riders.  Many of the techniques I used are based on DNS (dynamic neuromuscular stabilization) AiM (anatomy in motion) PDTR (proprioceptive deep tendon reflex) DNA (dynamic Neuromuscular assessment) as well as club bell and steel mace training.

Professional Philosophy

We must keep the "container safe" in regards to how we treat the person.  The nervous system will respond to whatever input you give it, providing the space remains safe.  I use movement and breath as a benchmark for neurological response and by muscle testing the nervous system, we can assess how your nervous system responds to input.

Athletic Background

I played sports all through childhood, up until college and now.  I was a fast pitch pitcher, played basketball, volleyball, ran a marathon and a few half marathons, did some bodybuilding until I found cross fit in 2013.  I am a competitive masters cross fit athlete and am currently ranked 123 in the world.

Academic Background and Professional Training

I have been practicing for over 23 years and am a dynamic clinician who utilizes a full body holistic approach to healing and restoring functional movement. I work with high school and college athletes, Pro and Semi Pro athletes, Cross Fitters, Powerlifters and Olympic Weightlifters in the area and I am able to achieve optimal results in limited time. I can address pain and restrictions in the body brought on by injury, postural deficits, stress and poor movement patterns utilizing a system of functional neurology to pinpoint the root cause of muscle dysfunction. Clients leave with little to no pain and improved mobility and a knowledge of their bodies and how to take charge of their own health and well being. I use a vast network of PT’s, Chiropractors, Doctors and Functional Medicine Doctors at hand to help with clients overall wellness. I continue to pursue Continuing Education in the newest, cutting edge courses to better help YOU.
